We are excited to share an upcoming Keystone Symposia meeting that will bring together researchers exploring the fascinating intersection of metabolism, immunity, and infectious disease.
Host–Pathogen Interactions in Metabolism and Immunity will convene leading scientists studying how pathogens reshape host cellular processes and how immune and metabolic pathways influence infection outcomes. We are especially proud that Dr. Lena Pernas, our Principal Investigator, is serving as one of the conference organizers, helping to shape a scientific program that brings together experts from diverse fields to discuss the latest advances in host–pathogen interactions, immunometabolism, and microbial pathogenesis.
The meeting will feature presentations from researchers working across microbiology, immunology, cell biology, metabolism, and infectious disease. Topics will range from fundamental mechanisms of host defense and pathogen adaptation to emerging technologies and therapeutic strategies aimed at understanding and controlling infection.
For scientists interested in innate immunity, immunometabolism, organelle biology, microbial pathogenesis, and host–microbe interactions, this conference promises to be an outstanding venue to share discoveries, exchange ideas, and build new collaborations. The interdisciplinary nature of the meeting is designed to foster conversations across fields and spark new approaches to longstanding questions in infection biology.
As with all Keystone Symposia meetings, attendees can expect a highly interactive environment, opportunities for trainees to present their work, and meaningful networking with scientists at every career stage. The meeting will provide an excellent platform for students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members to engage with leaders in the field and discuss emerging research directions.
